If you enjoy Afropop, Kuduro, or almost anything else, I recommend The Very Best. Their eponymous warmup album is a free download, and you probably already have it if you’ve mentioned music to me at all in the last eight months, but their real for-money Warm Heart of Africa just came out. $10 for this gold on iTunes is basically theft. It’s happy, catchy, complex and fresh stuff. Ezra Koenig and MIA make cameos, if that’s likely to sway you, but for my part I’m not buying anything by Vampire Weekend that doesn’t have Esau Mwamwaya on it.
